JP Ryans Senior Hurlers made it 3-in-a-row for the Vancouver Championship.
With the Championship best of 3 series tied at one game a piece, it was all to play for in the final game of the season. In a nervy start, chances were missed by both sides but it was JP Ryans leading by 2 coming up the halfway point of the first half. With tensions high from the start of the championship decider, a clash along the sideline proved the boiling point, and after a strike to JP Ryans Richard Hurley after the whistle was blown, Cu Chulainn were down to 14 men.
After that, it was JP Ryans who built up a lead and never looked back being able to retain
Intermediate Hurlers make amends for 2021
After losing out in the Intermediate final of 2021, JP Ryans showed skill and composure throughout to win the Intermediate final.
Junior Hurling Finals
Unfortunately the Junior A final did not go our way, with Cu Chulainn winning out.
We were delighted to welcome back some of the old guard for the Junior B Hurling Exhibition. It was great to see those who were fundamental in keeping JP Ryans going for years back in the Blue of the Ryans.
